Welcome to Red Deer Catholic International! Our world-class program for international students was launched in 2005. Since then, we have hosted hundreds of students who have enjoyed a first-class education and a safe and welcoming community environment in our schools and the broader community of Red Deer, Alberta, Canada.
We offer and follow the provincially mandated Department of Education curriculum within a Catholic, Christian environment. Our international program is open to students from Grades 8 through 12 and students are placed in one of our middle or high schools located throughout the jurisdiction.
Red Deer is located in the heart of our great province, a short two-hour drive to the majestic Rocky Mountains and on the main provincial highway thoroughfare, midway between Alberta’s two largest cities, Edmonton and Calgary. It is easy to access our city. Red Deer is located just a one-hour drive from one of two international airports located north and south of the city near Edmonton and Calgary.
Red Deer offers all the amenities of city life combined with the security and community culture of a smaller urban centre. Recreation opportunities abound and include an established ski area within a 10-minute drive of the city. RDCI international students are able to take advantage of a wide variety of sports and recreational activities.
Due to our unique location, size, educational resources and amenities, international students receive a genuine Canadian cultural experience in a safe and welcoming community.
Red Deer Catholic International offers a quality homestay program in collaboration with Canada Homestay Network. CSN focuses on student care and attention within caring family environments. Students are provided with their own bedroom, access to a computer and three main healthy meals a day. Students become a part of our homestay families and enjoy the care and comfort of being surrounded by their hosts.
Join us at Red Deer Catholic International for an academic, spiritual and cultural experience of a lifetime.
