Think Globally Art Contest

The Alberta Education Think Globally Art Contest is a opportunity for students in Kindergarten to Grade 12 to celebrate the various First Nations, Métis and Inuit cultures in Alberta through art. Please note that the contest deadline is January 20, 2017. 

Contest participants must submit artwork that:

  • is in colour;
  • is 11" x 17" (27.94 cm x 42.18 cm) for paper or 12" x 18" (30.48 cm x 45.72 cm) for canvas;
  • is accompanied by a completed Consent and Official Entry Form;
  • is not computer-generated;
  • uses art media that includes paint and pastels, but not three dimensional supplies;
  • illustrates one of the following 10 themes: ancestors, celebration, history, identity, land, language, people, relations, reconciliation or treaty.
